Best of the web! Times two.

About a month or so ago, I was contacted by an editor of Pocketchange.com, asking if I would be a part of the site's weekly feature, "Best of the Web," showcasing the best blogs of the week. I readily said 'yes!' I was asked to write up a blurb describing myself and what my blog is all about. For someone who writes about people and things for a living, writing about myself was actually hard!

A second "Best of the Web" this week is of my own designation - today Jack's Mannequin's album "People and Things" dropped! And it's SO GOOD and I can't stop playing it! Already. At 9:25 a.m.

Because I purchased a T-shirt at the last concert I went to where I actually died and went to heaven - I mean met Andrew McMahnon - I was given a postcard (above, complete with Andrew's signature!) with a free download of the album. At 8 a.m. I had already downloaded it and was listening. It' so great and I am really loving the tracks "Television" and "Restless Dream" :D

And in two days, I am going to see Jack's play with AN ORCHESTRA at the Connecticut Bushnell! Woo! Complete with my Jack's ladies! Can't wait!

Now I'm off to the dentist! AHH!
